Each crewmember has a day on cooking and kitchen duty; others may add comments.
Day 1: Cook on duty | BLAKE |
Menu | Comments |
Breakfast cornflakes
and milk |
Here, I'm a vegetarian, you know! Vila Ah. It was meat and 4 veg then.
Blake never could count. I agree with Vila. There should be a meat alternative at each meal. Good honest food. But not enough of it. |
Lunch corned
beef
sandwiches |
|
Dinner meat
and 3 veg |
Day 2: Cook on duty | VILA |
Menu | Comments |
Breakfast choice

Lucky for you that really was a dessert. Jenna You amaze me, Vila. Every
now and then you show some taste. That Muscat was very nice and ... mine,
you thieving bastard! Great vinders and the rest was good fodder. Didn't like that sticky drink
though. Very nice, Vila, especially those little balls. Not bad. A bit exotic but I liked it anyway. |
Lunch veggie
pizzas: |
|
Dinner
starter: |
Day 3: Cook on duty | AVON |
Menu | Comments |
Breakfast hot
croissants with butter |
There could have been a bit more of it. Gan Are you trying to kill us with
hardening of the arteries so you can take the Liberator? I'm a man of plain tastes. Isn't one sauce enough? Yum-yum but I wasn't very well afterwards and couldn't stand watch. Hmm.
Same again next week by any chance? Very nice. Do you have any more of that chocolate? |
Lunch cucumber
or watercress sandwiches |
|
Dinner appetiser: |
Day 4: Cook on duty | JENNA |
Menu | Comments |
Breakfast kippers |
I believe you are meant to boil the peas. Avon Well done! Oh, those poor little things. That stuck to me ribs. Was that an insult? |
Lunch bacon
and egg pie |
|
Dinner salted
peanuts for Vila |
Day 5: Cook on duty | CALLY |
Menu | Comments |
Breakfast whole-grain
organic muesli with sunflower seeds and wheat germ |
That sounded disgusting and was delicious! Vila What he said. You hypocrite, Cally. I've seen what you eat other days. And how much for
that matter. We need to stay healthy for the cause, Avon. Well done, Cally. Not bad except for that strange stuff in the soup. |
Lunch vegetable
soup with tofu |
|
Dinner lentil
casserole |
Day 6: Cook on duty | GAN |
Menu | Comments |
Breakfast sausages,
baked beans, eggs |
A man after my own heart! Blake Quantity and quality appear to be mutually
exclusive in this case. Cheers mate, but for variety could you whack a little curry powder or
chilli in the beans next time? I've said this before, Gan. Not beans at every meal, esp not with beer.
Now I suppose Cally and I will have to put up with yet another profoundly
unfunny competition on the flight deck. Men! Very nice, particularly the peas. A most unusual treatment. |
Lunch bread,
butter |
|
Dinner baked
beans And lots of everything! |
Day 7: Cook on duty | NONE |
Menu | Comments |
A day
of rest (from cooking anyway, please note, Vila). Serve yourself leftovers from the week from the fridge and stasis chamber and do clean up after yourselves (please note, Avon). Blake |
Bags the vinders. Gan Too late. Sorry. All right. I know there was over a litre of ice-cream left. Own up, Vila. Sorry, it was me. Is there any chocolate? Mmmm, cold chip butties and pizza! Yum-yum! Anyone know where the
leftover baked beans are?
I felt like whacking up a really hot chilli sin carne. It was not me this time. But if you find them, I should like to try that
dish. There's plenty in the store. I shall be doing regularly scheduled space suit and emergency respirator
testing for the next 24 hours. |
